Northumberland FPC (Food Policy Council)

At the 25 April 2018 NCFPC meeting, members agreed upon the following 5 priority policy options:

i) Decrease Food Waste

ii) Incentives for franchises/institutions to purchase local foods

iii) Land Use Planning

iv) Community Gardens

v) Promotion of the OAFVC (this priority has since then become redundant as the facility is currently operating at full capacity).
